Terms of Service

01Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Clearwater Roleplay verification service ("the Service"), an account-linking utility that connects Discord accounts to Roblox accounts via Roblox's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. By initiating a verification through the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Description of the Service

The Service records a verified association between a Discord user identifier and a Roblox user identifier. The Service does not provide gameplay features, virtual goods, or moderation; it exists only to confirm that the same person controls both accounts at the time of verification.

03Eligibility

You must be old enough to hold a Roblox account under Roblox's Terms of Use and a Discord account under Discord's Terms of Service. By using the Service you represent that your use does not violate either of those agreements.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to verify an account that you do not lawfully control;
• Use the Service to impersonate another person;
• Attempt to bypass, exploit, or interfere with our authentication, rate limits, or session integrity;
• Use automated means to mass-create verifications;
• Use the Service in violation of Roblox's or Discord's platform terms.

05Roblox and Discord

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation or Discord Inc. "Roblox" and "Discord" and their respective logos are trademarks of their owners. Your use of Roblox is subject to Roblox's Terms of Use; your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service. The Service is a third-party utility built on top of Roblox's public OAuth 2.0 APIs.

06Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

07Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not responsible for downtime caused by Roblox's OAuth infrastructure or by Discord.

08Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and revoke its authorization through your Roblox account settings.

11Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
